ARPA-FVG environment education conference

Puntozero commissioned me this illustration for the regional environmental education conference organized by ARPA FVG.

There are two kids sitting around a pot, taking care of a giant flower, which in turn gives them shelter. The aim of the conference is a reflection on the role of teachers in promoting educational experiences on environmental issues.

Here are my two drafts on the subject. Both involve children and lush, green nature. Initially, I liked more the first one, in which there is an explosion of wild and untamed nature. However, in the end, the second concept focuses more on creating a virtuous cycle of mutual care and growth between humans and nature.

I was also invited to Puntozero’s workshop to create a welcome installation for the event.

The installation greeted participants as they arrived at the venue. It consists of wooden panels featuring a large tree made of recycled cardboard, with children peeking out from behind it.

The concept was to invite participants to share their suggestions, intentions, and ideas on the topic by adding them in the form of leaves
